Entering the Home Stretch

Hope you all enjoy our little baby New Year!  We went to the store and bought some party favors and decided to celebrate with Zachary the day after.  Happy New Year to all of you!
The rest of today was filled with plenty of feeding and sleeping.  Zach seems to be sleeping much better now that his antibiotics are finished, and he no longer has an IV under his arm. Amanda stopped by for a couple of hours and kept us company, and Stephanie stopped by in the afternoon as well (Thank You for the blanket and elephant!).  Overall, the day went very well, and Zachary seems to be settling in nicely to his new "tube free" lifestyle.
The plan is still for Zach to come home tomorrow.  He will have his head ultrasound in the early morning, then hopefully be released in the afternoon.  Please continue to pray for his speedy recovery and healing, as well as a blessed homecoming tomorrow.  Until then, we wish you all a fun filled New Year once more, and will send word as soon as he gets home.  With Love - Brian + Kimmie
